I’m Owain Brown, an engineering manager at a digital agency in the North East of England. I lead a mobile team working in Swift, Kotlin and Flutter, and I still write a fair amount of the code.

C Shells is where I think out loud about building apps and the tools around them, which these days means a lot about AI. The name is a pun on “sea shells by the sea shore” and the C shell. I write from Seaham, which is where the lighthouse in the header lives.
